3.5.2.1.2 Maximum Slew Rate Limit
The slew rate is the rate of change in the output voltage of the field control option
card. This rate can be limited to protect the magnet power supply. The Slew rate limit
will be used even when a step change is requested (including when disabling field
control while actively controlling).
3.5.2.2 Open Loop Mode
In Open Loop mode, the control output voltage of the field control option card can be
set directly by the user. This can be helpful in testing and characterizing the field con-
trol system before moving to Closed Loop control.
