3.4.8 Temperature
Measurement
The temperature compensation detail screen displays the current temperature read-
ing for the probe tip temperature sensor. Temperature compensation is on by default
but can be turned off for troubleshooting, or set to manual to allow temperature
inputs that are outside the standard operating range of the probe temperature sen-
sor (0° to 90° C).
For more information on temperature compensation, see section 3.5.6.
3.4.9 Screen Lock
The screen lock feature prevents accidental changes to parameter values. When the
screen is locked, some parameter values may be viewed, but not changed, from the
front panel.
To lock the screen:
1. Tap the action icon (three dots in the top right corner of the screen). A drop-down
menu appears.
2. Tap
Lock
. A message indicating that the screen is locked appears in the status bar.
To unlock the screen:
1. Tap the lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
2. Tap UNLOCK in the status bar. The screen unlocks.
