CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
At times, the Urocap IV will become dirty due to urine contamination and cleaning
is required. Always wear protective gloves when cleaning the equipment to
prevent biological contamination.

The Urocap IV Uroflowmeter has a
rating of IP54 for ingress of water. This
means that the enclosure of the
Uroflowmeter is able to handle splashes
of water and liquid from any direction,
but it is not protected against total
immersion into water or any other
liquids. Never soak or immerse the
Urocap IV into water or any other
liquids.

The lid of the Urocap IV is not removable and attention must be paid to
prevent damage to the lid.
•
The Urocap IV should be cleaned using a damp cloth with alcohol, soap, or
disinfectant detergent.

The unit should be stored in a cool and dry area at room temperature.
