If the engine is cold:
Pull the choke knob out.

If the engine is warm:
Place the throttle control lever
midway between the
"SLOW" and the "FAST" positions.
3. Make sure that the PTO lever is in the
"DISENGAGED" (OFF) position.
(1) PTO lever "ENGAGED" (ON)
"DISENGAGED" (OFF)
4. Place the motion control levers in the
"NEUTRAL LOCK" position.
(1) Motion control lever (LH)
(2) Motion control lever (RH) (A) "NEUTRAL LOCK"
Position
(B) "NEUTRAL" Position
(held by hands)
(C) "CREEP" Position
(hands off)
(D) "FORWARD"
(E) "REVERSE"
5. Release the hydraulic lift control pedal
to the "DOWN" position.
(1) Hydraulic lift control pedal Depressing: "UP"
Release: "DOWN"
6. Set the throttle lever as follows.
(1) Throttle lever
(2) Choke knob
(A) Pull out: "ON" position
(B) Push in: "OFF" position "FAST"
"SLOW"
