Changing the main fuse
Warning
Fire hazard
The electrical system can be overloaded if the wrong fuses are used.

Use only fuses with the prescribed amperage. Never bypass or repair fuses.
Info
The main fuse protects all power consumers of the vehicle. It is located behind the battery.
Preparatory work
–
Switch off all power consumers and switch off the engine.

Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (
–
Fold the seat up. (
–
Remove the shock absorber.

Remove protection caps

Remove the faulty main fuse

Info
A defective fuse is indicated by a burned-out fuse wire

A reserve fuse
is located in the starter relay.

Install a new main fuse.

Check that the electrical equipment is functioning properly.
Tip
Insert the spare fuse so that it is available if needed.

Mount the protection caps.

Install the shock absorber.
