USER'S MANUAL

Atomizer

The SC Applicator has been designed with a slide-out atomizer to give the user quick and easy access to
the atomizer section for cleaning and maintenance. See pg. 11 for more details on this process.

To get the best treating result, it is important that there is an even seed curtain that flows around the atomizer
disk, and that the liquid creates an even 360 degree distribution of treatment out from the atomizing disk. To
achieve both of these features, it is important that the following items are checked to be in place / operational.

Seed Distribution Basket

This  distribution  basket  is  intended  to  allow  some  seed  to  flow
under the basket, and then backup and flow through the holes in
the basket. In the image on the right, the gap between the seed
distribution basket and the poly cone is shown.

This gap should be set so that only a small amount of seed flows
through  this  gap,  but  not so  much  that  it  stops the  flow  of seed
entirely.

To adjust this gap, the atomizer head section can be
adjusted by adding or subtracting washers from the 3
bolts that hold this head to the frame.
