Liquid Stands
Each liquid stand on the SC Applicator is setup with some components that should be monitored and
cleaned. These different areas are listed out below.
Flow Meter / Check Valve / Filter
The flow meter should be cleaned when it will sit idle for an extended period of
time and the beginning of a season. A cleaning brush is provided with each flow
meter which can be used for this.
In addition to the flow meter, all other areas that could experience buildup, should
be flushed and cleaned at the end of use (when the machine will sit for an
extended period of time) and prior to use (after sitting for an extended period of
time. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to (depending on other
accessories that may be added to the unit):

Filters

Check Valves
•
Static Mixer
Pump Elements
The pump that is used to pump the liquid is a peristaltic pump, which uses
suction to pump the liquid from the tank to the treater. A key part of this
suction that is created is the hose element that runs through the pump
head. This pump element will lose suction over time, and so it’s
recommended that this element be replaced on a yearly basis, or every
10,000 units.
