Practical application when loading
1. Set required number of blades.. Until first silage cut
only the number of blades required for cutting green
forage should be used.
2. Before starting loading, switch on oil circulation at
tractor and secure lever.
On uneven ground, leave pick-up in “lower” mode
by switching the appropriate selector switch, so that
the pick-up can adapt to unevennesses. The pick-
up can be operated in this floating position during
the whole loading procedure. Then switch the PTO
shaft on and start loading.
At the start of the loading procedure, switch the
floor conveyor advance on when the crop has
reached approx. 3/4 of the total height, to
prevent the crop pile tipping over.
Afterwards, switch the floor conveyor on when the
loading height has been reached or, with extremely
heavy crops, the loading unit no longer runs
smoothly.
3. The swath should be even, loose and not too thick.
4. Avoid excessive pressing. Switch advance on soon
enough.
With green forage and beet leaves, switch the floor
conveyor on when the load has reached a height of
approx. 1 m in the wagon.
5. The travelling speed when loading must be adapted
to the swath size, the crop and the number of
blades.
6. When loading is finished allow the conveyor unit to
continue to operate and raise the pick-up. Then
switch the PTO shaft off.
7. If malfunctions occur, the loading sequence can be
reversed using the supplied multi-purpose key (see
photo).
Never leave the multi-purpose key on the
drive shaft after the malfunction has
been rectified. Always return it to the key
holder provided.
