Blade control
Turn lever (5) by 180°, this lifts locking pins out. Moving
the positioned multi-purpose key makes it easier to turn
the lever (5).
Then use the multi-purpose key (6) to turn the blade
control shafts and set the required number of blades on
both sides of the wagon. Turn to the right at the left-
hand side of the wagon and turn to the left on the right-
hand side of the wagon!
Finally re-engage the locking pins by turning the lever (5).
Between the respective blade settings there are
positions where the locking pins cannot be engaged
and all blades can swing back to 0-position.
Hydraulic blade switching to O-position
(on request for 6/36 D)
Hydraulic blade 0-switching serves to disengage the
blades if blockages occur in the feed channel, allowing
blockages to be rectified without leaving the tractor cab.
When hydraulic blade 0-switching is operated, the blade
securing levers (7) are turned against the spring force
by two pulling cylinders at left and right respectively.
This turns the blade support rollers so that the blades
can swing to the rear out of the feed channel.
When the lever (7) is turned an electric switch (8) is
operated via a tension spring. It makes the indicator
lamp (9) light up in the electrical control box in the
tractor cab, so that the tractor driver is warned that the
blades are not engaged.
When the blockage has been rectified by switching on
the universal drive shaft, the switch (9) at the electrical
control box must be pressed in position “0” until the
blades are fully engaged in the channel, i.e. the indi-
cator lamp goes out.
The indicator lamp can light up without the hydraulic
blade control having been operated. For example if a
foreign body has actuated the blade safety device or
blunt blades have increased the cutting pressure to a
point where the safety device actuates.
If the indicator lamp lights up always search and rectify
the cause.
