Power Connection and States
Plug the RCI5000 power cord into an AC mains source. The POWER LED should light
up, and the charger will begin to work. If there is a power failure, the switching power
supply automatically switches to the internal backup battery.
The power block has several states, where depending on the state, the power led and fault
sound turn on or off. The following table describes all states.

Note:
To avoid ‘Low Battery’ situation, a manual test is required. While AC power is connected and
working properly, unplug manually the AC power cord. RCI should continue working with
‘Power Led’ in a ‘Constant Red’ light status and fault sound in ‘On’ status. In this case, the
battery is OK. If battery voltage level is low, the ‘Power Led’ should blink in Red light. After
checking the battery, plug the AC power cord to the RCI.
