Installing Applications (Image Controller IC-603)

Installation

Start the installer from the

Color Centro CD/DVD-ROM

supplied with this machine, and then install

Color

Centro

on your computer.

To install, the computer's administrator privilege is required.

Insert the

Color Centro CD/DVD-ROM

into the CD/DVD-ROM drive of the computer.

If the installer does not start, double-click [setup.exe] on the CD/DVD-ROM, and then proceed to
Step 3.

Click [Administration Tools] - [Color Centro] - [Install].

When the [User Account Control] window is displayed, click [Continue] or [Yes].

Select a language, and then click [OK].

If .NET Framework 3.5 is not installed on the computer, follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

Click [Next].

Check the license agreement, click [I accept the terms in the license agreement], and then click [Next].

Check the destination folder, and then click [Next].

To change the destination folder, click [Change], and then specify another folder.

Click [Install].

Click [Finish].

Color Centro

, first connect to this machine.

Color Centro

is a Java application. If Java applications are blocked by a firewall, permit network con-

nections for the Java applications.

To connect Color Centro, you need to specify the IP address and port number of this machine. (Default
port number: 30081, 30082)
On the

control panel

, you can check the IP address in [TCP/IP Setting] and the port number in [JSP

Setting].
You can proceed to [TCP/IP Setting] and [JSP Setting] in the following order.

Utility/Counter

- [Administrator Setting] - [Network Setting] - [NIC Settings]

The JSP setting is a setting that relates to a connection with a Java application server.

Open the Start menu, and then click [All Programs] - [KONICA MINOLTA] - [Color Centro] - [KONICA
MINOLTA Color Centro].

Select a destination.

If this machine is not displayed, click [Search] to search for this machine.

Click [Connect].

Color Centro

starts, and the [Color Centro] screen becomes available.
