The PPD driver is only supported in Windows. However, the PPD driver is not supported by Windows Server
2003 R2.
In a Mac OS X environment, use the PS Plug-in driver.

PPD driver PostScript 3 Use this printer driver when using applications that can cre-
ate printing data using a PPD driver. The printer driver is
available only for Windows and Linux, not Mac OS.
