HEADLAND POSITION
When lifting the cutting unit from working position to headland position, the travel of
the cylinder is limited so that the cutting unit can only be lifted to a certain height.

This is secured by a valve

which is controlled by an arm running on a cam track

When the ball bearing on the arm

meets the notch on the cam track, the oil supply
between the tractor and the cylinder is interrupted and the cutting unit is not lifted any
further.
If the cutting unit is going to be lifted higher than the headland position, the valve can
be oversteered by pulling the cord for the transport safety device.
