Press working mode selector switch (1).
The screen changes to the working mode selection
screen.

Press working mode selector switch (1) or switch F3 or F4
to select Attachment Mode ATT/P or ATT/E.

With Attachment Mode ATT/P or ATT/E highlighted in yel-
low, enter the selection by either of the following opera-
tions.
1) To keep working mode selector switch (1) pressed.
2) To leave as it is for 5 seconds.
3) To press switch F6.
REMARK
Even if P, E, or L mode is selected, the attachment is not
operated.
When using the Attachment Mode, check that the Attach-
ment Mode is active before starting operations.
On the Attachment Setting of the user menu, it is possible
to make the Attachment Mode inactive.

ETC
• Is the stop valve in FREE position?
• Is the working mode ATT/P or ATT/E?

When handling the attachment, follow the instruction manual from the manufacturer and use the attachment
correctly.
METHOD FOR OPERATING WHEN ATTACHMENT CONTROL SETTING IS ON

WARNING
When you are going to grab something with the attachment, do not release the pedals and proportional
switches while holding the object.
If the attachment pressure adjustment system has a failure, stop the operation and move the machine to
a safe place, then consult your Komatsu distributor for the inspection and maintenance.
