Turn the starting switch key (2) to ON position (B).

Check if the preheating pilot lamp on the monitor panel (3)
is lit.
If a password has been set, the input display screen will be
indicated on the monitor screen, but the preheating pilot
lamp operates in the same way as on the standard screen.

Leave this condition until the preheating pilot lamp goes
out.
7.
After the preheating pilot lamp goes out, turn the key of the
starting switch (2) to START position (C), and start the en-
gine.
The lighting time of the preheating pilot lamp varies with
the ambient temperature as shown in the table.

When the engine starts, release the key of the starting
switch (2).
The key will return automatically to ON position (B).
REMARK
Just after starting the engine, run it at idle. During this peri-
od, release the decelerator pedal and perform no opera-
tion of the work equipment.
Standard idling time
• In cold weather: Min. 15 sec.
• First start after replacement of engine oil or engine oil
filter: 20 sec.
