then changes to blinking green, and then green.
8. Basic Operation of the Virtual Vaginal Exam
１） Launching the Virtual Vaginal Exam
Check that the trakSTAR is turned on, and launch the Virtual Vaginal Exam by clicking the [Virtual
Vaginal Exam] button from the menu launched following the instructions on p. 20.
When the “Virtual Vaginal Exam” application is started, the trakSTAR lamp, which was blinking
green, lights orange for a short time and then starts blinking green again. After that, the light
changes to a steady green display, indicating that the application can now be used.
*When the examination training session is over, exit the “Virtual Vaginal Exam” application on the
computer before turning off the trakSTAR power.
2) Explanation of menus
There are four items on the menu bar: Vaginal Examination; Display; Setup; and About. The
functions of each of these are shown below.
