6. Setting Up the Virtual Vaginal Exam
(1) To set up the Virtual Reality Vaginal Exam Model, connect the base for securing the main body,
the main body, trakSTAR, finger sensors, computer, and product key according to the instructions in
Section 2 on p. 8, “Setting up the Virtual Reality Vaginal Exam Model.”
(2) Turn on the power to the trakSTAR.
(3) Attach the finger sacks of the sensors to the fingers, ensuring that the sensor parts are over the
fingernails. After the finger sacks are in place, apply baby powder to the sacks.
(4) After the finger sacks are in place, put on the glove. Make sure to apply a sufficient amount of
baby powder inside the glove before putting it on.
* These gloves are made with natural rubber. Natural rubber may cause allergic reactions. Please read
the cautions printed on the glove packaging before use.
