Troubleshooting

ERROR 18 If the meter detects an error during the self-test, an error

message appears.
Possible causes:
• Configuration or calibration data are defective.

Completely reconfigure and recalibrate the meter.

ERROR 19 Error in the factory settings or system memory.

FAIL

appears in the display.

Possible causes:

• EPROM or RAM defective
• Error in meter factory settings

Note

This error message should normally not occur, as the data

are protected from loss with multiple safety functions.

Should this error message nevertheless appear, no remedy

is available. The meter must be repaired and recalibrated at

the factory.
