Draining for frost transport

It is not allowed to blow out the water with compressed air because the components
are not compression proofed.
Shut down the LIMAX
®
120 laser unit. Remove the front (chapter 5.1), the back cover (chapter
5.2), drain the cooling water (chapter 7.2), open the sealing plug at the top side of the laser
resonator (fig 7.2) and remove the de-ionization cartridge. It has to be guaranteed that the
whole water is out of the laser system to make it frost-proof.
To achieve this e.g. use a bellow, a water-jet pump, or a water filter vacuum cleaner. Connect
the pump successively to each water outlet until all water is completely pumped out.
