Removal of the opto-mechanical unit
For replacement or servicing the opto-mechanical unit can be removed and placed in a secured
position. First shut down the LIMAX
®
120 laser unit and remove the backside cover (chapter
5.2). Remove four M4x10 socket head cap screws using a 3 mm hex screwdriver and move the
opto-mechanical unit backwards carefully without damaging the SMA-plus fibre connecting
socket. Rotate the opto-mechanical unit as seen in fig. 5.5 to place it in service position. When
replacing the opto-mechanical unit drain the DI-water cooling unit as described in chapter 0.
Remove all connectors before taking it out completely.
