Control of any coupled boiler
If the heating cooker/heating stove is to be coupled with
another boiler already installed on the system (e.g. wall-
mounted gas boiler), it must be ensured that when the heating
cooker/heating stove functions for the heating system, the
boiler stops. In this way the setting
(see wiring diagram on
page 30) intervenes on the coupled boiler when the
temperature set on the auxiliary thermostat on the wood-fired
heating cooker/heating stove
control unit is reached. In this
way, there will never be two boilers functioning simultaneously
on the same system. The coupled boiler is however always
available for the production of domestic hot water.
The contact on the two terminals at the back of the
control unit (TERMINAL 4 COM and TERMINAL 5 NC) is
open when the heating cooker/heating stove temperature
is higher than that set on the aux thermostat. If the
heating cooker/heating stove temperature is lower, the
contact is closed.
It is therefore easy to connect these two terminals with two
wires to the Room Temperature Thermostat input of a coupled
boiler.
