3. Using the hob
• Press the ON/OFF button.
After switching on, a signal tone sounds, all displays light
up
for about one second and show or
.
The hob is in standby mode.
• Now place suitable cookware centrally on the desired coo-
king zone(s).
• Make sure that the surface of the hob and the bottom of the
cookware are clean and dry!
• Touch the selection control of the desired cooking zone.
The display next to the key will flash and indicate the power
level 5.

Use the
and keys to set the desired power level
from 0 to 9.
Note:
If there is no suitable cookware on the selecte cooking
zone (display: , see chapter on cookware),
it will switch off automatically after one minute.
• You can also change the power at any time during cooking
by first selecting the desired cooking zone and then using
the and keys.
