Important safety instructions
This manual is the basis for handling the appliance.
Read and follow the instructions carefully before in-
stalling and operating the appliance.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any injury, dam-
age or problems caused by failure to follow the instruc-
tions, incorrect installation or improper handling.
Intended use
To avoid injury or damage and to ensure trouble-free op-
eration of the appliance, follow the instructions below:
• Keep children under 8 years and pets at a safe distance
from the appliance and its cord.
• Children aged from 8 years and above or persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge must not use, clean or
generally maintain this appliance unless they are super-
vised or have been given instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way by a person responsible for
their safety and understand the hazards involved.
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance, its com-
ponents or near the appliance.
• Do not keep objects of interest to children above or be-
hind the appliance.
• Children who climb onto the hob can be seriously inju-
red.
• The appliance is only intended for installation in suitable
kitchen furniture.
To do this, follow the installation instructions and do not
use the hob until it has been properly installed.
• The appliance is designed for private use in a domestic
environment and is intended for preparing, heating and
keeping food and drinks warm.
Use it exclusively for its intended purpose.
• The appliance is intended for use up to a maximum alti-
tude of 2000 metres above sea level.
• Always use heat-resistant cookware suitable for induc-
tion hobs to prepare your food.
• The appliance is not intended for operation via a sepa-
rate remote control or operation via an external timer.
• When using the hob for the first time, there may be an
odour and also a slight build-up of fumes.
This is normal and harmless.
Keep the room well ventilated until these have dissipat-
ed (max. 30 min.).
