5. ADJUSTING THE HEADREST HEIGHT: 9 headrest height positions

As children are not all the same height, the headrest may be adjusted upwards or downwards. A correctly adjusted headrest ensures optimal protection

for the child in the safety seat. Pull the adjusting ring of the headrest upwards, move the headrest up or down, and release the adjuster to fasten the

headrest in the required position. IMPORTANT: After each adjustment, check if it is properly engaged by sliding the headrest downwards slightly.

6. USING FOR GROUP 0+ (0–13 KG)

The safety seat should be installed in the rear facing position. The safety seat must only be used in the fully reclined position. Check the blue mark

on the base of the safety seat for reference.

Step 6.1. Place the safety seat firmly against the back of the forward-facing vehicle seat, as shown in the diagram.

Step 6.2. Pull the lap and diagonal section of the vehicle seat belt until fully extended and place the lap part of the belt through the hook on the base (from

top to bottom) on the other side and then fasten the vehicle seat belt. Check if the lap belt goes under the base. At the same time, place the diagonal belt

in the headrest guide.

Step 6.3. Tighten the vehicle seat belt by pulling first the lap section of the belt and then the diagonal part in the direction shown in the diagram.

Check if the vehicle seat belt is not twisted.

Step 6.4. Place the child in the safety seat and make sure that the shoulder straps are at the right height. Check if the safety seat is correctly installed every

time you drive with the child in the car. Gently twist and pull the restraint system from side to side to make sure that the vehicle seat belt has not come

loose and that the safety seat does not move about. To remove the safety seat follow the instructions above in reverse order.

NOTE: The maximum reclining position is suitable for group 0+.

7. USING FOR GROUP 1 (9–18 KG)

The safety seat should be installed in the forward facing position. Recline the safety seat to the required position. Check the red mark on the base of the

safety seat for reference.

Step 7.1. Place the safety seat firmly against the back of the forward facing vehicle seat, as shown in the diagram.

Step 7.2. Pull the lap and diagonal section of the vehicle seat belt until fully extended, place the diagonal part of the vehicle seat belt through the headrest

guide while placing the lap belt through the groove marked red. Place the 2 parts of the belt (diagonal and lap section) under the pad, passing them from

one side to the other.

Step 7.3. Tighten the vehicle seat belt by pulling first the lap section of the belt and then the diagonal part in the direction shown in the diagram.

Check if the vehicle seat belt is not twisted.

Step 7.4.

8. USING FOR GROUP 2 AND 3 (15–36 KG)

IMPORTANT: Before installing the safety seat, remove the shoulder straps, crotch strap and lap strap.

Step 8.1. Place the safety seat firmly against the back of the forward facing vehicle seat, as shown in the diagram.

Step 8.2. Place the child in the safety seat. Make sure that the child’s back is flat against the back of the safety seat. Pull the 3-point seat belt of the vehicle

and place the diagonal section through the headrest guide, and the lap belt through the groove marked red. Make sure that both the diagonal section

and the lap section go through the groove marked red on the other side before fastening the vehicle belt.

Step 8.3. Tighten the vehicle seat belt by pulling first the lap section of the belt and then the diagonal part in the direction shown in the diagram. Check

if the vehicle seat belt is not twisted. Check if the safety seat is correctly installed every time you drive with the child in the car. Gently twist and pull the

restraint system from side to side to make sure that the vehicle seat belt has not come loose and that the safety seat does not move about. To remove the

safety seat follow the instructions above in reverse order. NOTE: To fully upright reclining position is suitable only for group 2 and 3.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

These instructions are important. Read them carefully and keep for future reference.

Remove the harness system. Remove the seat cover. To replace the cover, keep the product.

IMPORTANT: The seat cover is a safety feature. Do not use the safety seat without its cover. Do not put the child’s safety at risk by using a different

replacement cover that has not been approved, as this would reduce the level of protection offered by the seat.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: The cover is removable and washable at 30 °C. Line dry only. Machine wash, cold. Do not bleach. Do not iron. Dryclean, any solvent

except Trichlorethylene. Do not tumble dry. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint system manufacturer or the retailer.
