Replacing the PPMC Assembly

– The PPMC assembly is pre-programmed with N1912A firmware
– Always perform a firmware upgrade to the instrument if the PPMC assembly

has been replaced

– Instrument serial number:

This can be stored in the PPMC assembly via the command:

SERV:SNUM <CHARACTER DATA>

– Instrument option(s):

This/these can be stored in the PPMC assembly via the command:

NOTE

– Fitting a PPMC assembly that has been pre-programmed with N1912A

firmware to an N1911A power meter will generate errors; these errors will

disappear once the firmware upgrade procedure has been carried out.
