Radio/HD Radio Tuner Basic Operation
Most functions can be controlled from the source control screen.

• Set the remote control mode switch to AUD mode before starting operation, see

• HD Radio broadcasting can be received only by the DNX892, DNX772BH, DNX692, and DNX572BH.
• HD Radio broadcasting is for North American sales area only.
• The screen shot below is for tuner. It may be different from the one for HD Radio broadcasting.

1 PS/Station name display
Displays the PS name, Station name or Band, Frequency, Preset number.
2 Information display
Displays information about the current station: Frequency, PS name, Radio Text, Song Title, Artist Name,
etc.
3 Function bar
Various functions can be performed by using keys in this area. For details on the menu, see
Function
bar (P.59)
.
4 Preset key
Recalls the memorized station or channel.
Touching on the screen or flicking the screen to left will display the Preset list. Touching again or
flicking to right will close the list.
5 Function panel
Touch on the left side of the screen to display the function panel. Touch again to close the panel. For
details on the keys, see
Function panel (P.59)
.
6 Picture
The picture data or station Logo data is displayed if available from current content. When the picture is
not available, “No Photo” is displayed.
7 Preset list
Recalls the memorized station or channel. When touched for 2 seconds, stores the current receiving
station or channel in memory.
