lid.

The machine is not effectively removing

dirt/stains from the carpet.

ˇ The recovery tank is full.

ˇ Excessive foam is being created because

non-foaming chemicals are not being used.

ˇ The machine is being operated too quickly.

ˇ Deep, old stains may need to be chemically

pre-treated.

ˇ Heavily-soiled areas may need to be

cleaned more than once.

ˇ Pump, spray nozzle, vacuum motor, brush

motor, or brush roll are not propery working
or maintained.

Solution

ˇ Adjust belt tension (see “MAINTENANCE”).

ˇ Contact the dealer from which the machine

was purchased or an authorized service
station for repair.

ˇ Raise the brush off of the floor by tilting the

machine back onto its rear wheels.  Run
the brush motor for 1-2 minutes with the
machine in this position before using the
machine.

ˇ Adjust belt tension (see “MAINTENANCE”).

ˇ Turn the pump motor switch to “on”

position.

ˇ Contact the dealer from which the machine

was purchased or an authorized service
station for repair.

ˇ Clean the the spray nozzle and spray

nozzle screen filter using vinegar and

water solution (see “Maintenance”).
Inspect spray nozzle and replace if
damaged or worn.

ˇ Contact the dealer from which the machine

was purchased or an authorized service
station for repair.

ˇ Empty the recovery tank.

ˇ Use non-foaming chemicals (see “PREPA-

RATION”).

ˇ Use the machine at a slower pace.

ˇ Pre-treat all stains using pre-treatment

chemicals, following the manufacture’s
instructions for use.

ˇ Clean heavily-soiled areas a second time

using a cleaning pattern that is perpendicu-
lar to the initial cleaning pattern (initial
pattern front-to-back, second pattern left-
to-right).

ˇ Review the above-listed problems/solutions

for these items.  If no solution can be
found, contact the dealer from which the
