READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING!
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions

should always be followed. Failure to follow these safety
instructions could result in bodily injury, damage to prop-
erty, or to machine.

  WARNING

ˇ Fire and explosion can occur when this machine

is operated in areas where flammable solids,
liquids, dusts or gasses are present.  Do not use
this machine in these areas.  Use only with
nonflammable floor cleaners and floor finishing
products.

fl Do not leave the machine unattended when it is

plugged in. Turn off all switches and unplug the
electrical cord when not in use and before
servicing.

fl Do not allow to be used by untrained personnel.

Close attention is necessary when used near
children.

fl Avoid electrical shock, do not handle the plug or

machine with wet hands. To unplug the cord,
grasp the plug. Do not pull on the cord.

fl Do not use extension cords or outlets with

inadequate current carrying capacity. Do not use
with a damaged cord or plug. Connect the
machine only to a properly grounded outlet (refer
to GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS). Avoid dam-
aging cord (closing doors on cord, pulling around
sharp edges or corners, hot surfaces, or running
machine over cord).

fl This machine creates suction and contains a

revolving brush roll. Keep hair, loose clothing,
fingers, and all other parts of the body away from
openings and moving parts. Do not insert any
object into any of the openings in the machine.

ing, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.

fl Do not use the machine to pick up flammable or

combustible liquids such as gasoline. Do not use
in areas where flammable and/or explosive vapor
or dust is present to avoid the possibility of fire or
explosion. Some cleaning fluids can produce
such vapors.

 CAUTION

ˇ For commercial use only.

ˇ Check the rating plate to see if the  voltage

agrees within 10% of the voltage available.

fl Do not allow water and foam to leak from ma-

chine or enter the vacuum tube on the recovery
tank. If this happens, immediately shut off the
vacuum motor, unplug the machine.  Contact an
authorized service center.

fl Use machine only as described in this manual.

Do not use in ways it was not intended, including
hard floors. Use only manufacturer's recom-

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

FIGURE 1
This machine must be grounded to protect the opera-

tor from electric shock. Do not modify the plug provided
with the machine. This machine is equipped with a cord
having a grounding conductor and grounding plug. The
plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is
grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordi-
nances. Improper connection of an equipment ground-
ing conductor can result in risk of electric shock.

UNPACKING AND SET UP

FIGURE 2, 3, 4
Carefully inspect all components to insure that there is

no concealed freight damage.  If such damage is dis-
covered, file a Damage Report immediately with the de-
livering carrier.

The machine requires minimal assembly without tools.

Start by placing the solution tank next to the base as
shown. Connect the solution line from the  chassis to
the tank and seat the tank on the chassis.

Set the recovery tank on top of the solution tank. Place

the clear lid on with the hose connections facing the front,
and connect hoses.
