Activate the DHCP server (optional)
DHCP=Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol provides IP addresses automatically to clients on
request. If your computer is set up as a DHCP client (standard configuration), you can use the
gateway's DHCP server to provide an IP address.
Press and hold the reset button on the gateway for at least 10 seconds but not longer than 15
seconds. The DHCP server is active once the green/red status LEDs flash alternately. Connect the
network cable to your computer. The IP address is assigned automatically.

The IP address of the BACnet gateway is preset to 10.1.23.151. Use the Ping command to check
the connection. You can do this by opening a prompt (cmd.exe) and entering the following
command:
ping 10.1.23.151 <ENTER>

Check the IP connection
The gateway has an integrated web server for configuration purposes. To access the web server,
use a network cable to set up a direct Ethernet connection between computer and gateway. The
web server provides a web interface for the configuration.
