The KHS BACnet gateway can be used for
communication between a KHS mini control
system MASTER 2.0/2.1 and a building man-
agement system (BMS) via BACnet IP or MS/
TP protocol.
The KHS mini control system MASTER 2.0/2.1
has an Ethernet interface for enabling the
Modbus TCP/IP protocol. This protocol is used
to tie controllable functions and readable
information from the Kemper KHS flushing
system into the building management system
(BMS).
The KHS BACnet gateway converts the proto-
col from Modbus TCP/IP to BACnet IP or MS/
TP.
Section 4.1 | 4.2.
To update the software on the MASTER
2.0|2.1, follow the instructions in Section 4.1
of the installation and operating instructions
for the KHS mini control system MASTER 2.0.
To obtain a licence code and enable the
Modbus TCP/IP protocol:
Use of the gateway requires an existing KHS
mini control system MASTERMASTER 2.0|2.1
with software release V2.20
or higher, and the
licence code for enabling the Modbus TCP/IP
protocol.
The current device software for the Master
2.0|2.1 can be found at:

Operation directly on the MAS-
TER 2.0|2.1 overrides any data
exchange with the protocols. Ac-
cordingly, communication by the
MASTER 2.0|2.1 via Modbus TCP/
IP protocol is disabled during op-
eration on the device itself.
