The :AVERage commands are used to configure and control the filter. The
Filter is explained in Section 3.

:STATe? Query state of digital filter
Description
These commands are used to enable or disable the digital averaging filter for
the specified function. When enabled, readings will be filtered according to
how the filter is configured.

:TCONtrol? Query filter type
Description
These commands are used to select the type of averaging filter (REPeat or
MOVing) for the specified function. These filter types are explained in Sec-
tion 3 (see “Filter Modes”).
The number of readings that are averaged by the filter is set with the :AVER-
age:COUNt command. The :AVERage:STATe command is used to enable or
disable the filter. Changing the filter type disables auto filter.
