IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This guide contains important instructions for your DBL MX-U UPS that must be followed during the installation
and maintenance of the UPS and batteries.
CAUTION!!
Whenever the UPS is operating, there may be dangerous voltage present at the
unit’s outlets or connections.
This is because the UPS systems batteries provide power even if the unit is not connected to an AC source.
Do not attempt to repair the UPS, contact your local distributor or supplier before proceeding any further.
If any form of liquid or foreign objects are dropped on the UPS or enter the UPS, damaged may occur. This will
void the warranty.
Do not install the UPS where it is exposed to environments where sparks, smoke or flammable fluids/gas are
present.
This UPS is equipped with an EMI filter device. To prevent any potential leakage current or safety hazard, it is
very important that correct grounding procedures be followed.
You must follow local or agency codes.
The UPS is design to be installed in a properly vented enclosure.
To prevent overheating or over-temperature, always keep the cooling fans free from any objects that may block
the UPS air intakes, failure to do this will cause the UPS to over-heat and shut down.
WHEN INSTALLING THE UPS, ENSURE THAT ALL THE CONNECTIONS AND GROUNDING
PROCEDURES ARE FOLLOWED.
A DISCONNECT DEVICE SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR THE AC/DC INPUT OF A PERMANENTLY
CONNECTED UPS AND/OR A REMOTE SUPPLY/CABINET ASSEMBLY.
THE MINIMUM CONDUCTOR SIZES OF INPUT AND OUTPUT WIRES TO UPS ARE RECOMMENDED TO
SATISIED AS BELOW:
