Collagen-Tanning times
Your tanning time with the
should
be as pleasant as possible. For this reason, the UV-
dose to be administered is not controlled by time, but
rather by intensity. The collagen intensity is constant
over time.
UV-DOSAGE
The UV-dose to be administered is determined
in-
dividually depending upon skin type
before each
tanning session with the aid of a skin sensor (melanin
sensor).
Based on this measurement, the UV-dose to be ad-
ministered is automatically adjusted by means of the
fi xed tanning time.
The administered UV-dose will never exceed the ma-
ximum value of 300 J/m
2
.
If
no
skin measurement is performed, the minimum
dose of 100 J/m2 is automatically administered. The
UV-tubes switch off automatically after 10 minutes.
The
fi rst tanning session
must always be perfor-
med in this manner!
If no tanning takes place for four weeks, the person
tanning must begin with the fi rst tanning session
again.
This information is only in effect for devices that are
maintained according to the intervals listed in the
maintenance chapter (cleaning and replacing tubes).
ATTENTION
Performing the fi rst tanning session.
In order to ensure that no more than 100 J/
m
2
are administered during the fi rst tanning
session, this must performed
without
prior
skin measurement!
–
Dose of fi rst tanning session 100 J/m
2
for 10 min
–
Maximum dose 300 J/m
2
for 20 min
–
The time between two tanning sessions must be
at least 48 hours.
–
Maximum 50 tanning sessions per year
(=15 kJ/m
2
)
DANGER
Excessive dose of UV radiation
Excessively prolonged tanning sessions
may cause severe damage to skin and eyes.
•
Never operate the Collarium
®
with a
defective timer.
•
Observe the tanning times given in the
tanning schedule.
