5. BOILER OPERATION
Before using non-pellet fuel make sure that cast iron grates are
installed in correct position (narrower space on the top side“VVVVV“).
Non-pellet fuel is loaded through the middle door.
5.5. Maintenance:
Boiler maintenance:
Boiler maintenance and cleaning is performed periodically. The
periodicity depends on the fuel type and other conditions. If the boiler
is working well the cleaning can be performed once a month. The
cleaning consists of scraping soot of the heat exchanger through
the top door.
Ash tray emptying depends mostly on the fuel type. Full ash tray can
prevent proper boiler operation, so make sure to empty it accordingly.
Pellet feeding mechanism maintenance:
This type of cleaning is performed through a maintenance door
on the pellet container. Dust and other debris must be cleaned in
order to maintain consistent fuel feeding mechanism efficiency.
Recommended cleaning periodicity of 1 month.
Rotational burner maintenance:
In the burning process some of the dust gets inside the rotational
burner through ventilation holes. Depending on the quality of pellets
used the rotational burner should be cleaned once a heating season.

burner user manual.
