Risk of injury! Before carrying out any tasks
on the machine, set the main key to "0" and
remove key and plug of the charger.

Drain out the dirt water and dispose it off.

Warning
Risk of damage. Do not wash down the ap-
pliance with water and do not use aggres-
sive detergents.
Î
Drain off dirt water.
Î
Rinse the dirt water tank with clear water.
Î
Clean the outside of the appliance with a
damp cloth which has been soaked in
mild detergent.
Î
Check the pad for wear, replace if re-
quired.
Î
Check battery pole for oxidation; brush it
if required and lubricate it using pole
grease. Ensure that the connection ca-
ble sits firmly.
Î
Check the function of the immobilizing
brake (optional).
Î
Clean the seals between dirt water reser-
voir and cover and check for tightness,
replace if required.
Î
Check the acid density of the cells if the
batteries are not maintenance-free bat-
teries.
Î
Have the prescribed inspection carried
out by the customer service.
Î
Lower the polishing head.
Î
Loosen the suction hose from the polish-
ing head.
Î
Tilt the polishing head upward.
Î
Loosen the twist lock.
Î
Remove the pad.
Î
Insert the new pad in reverse sequence.
Î
Connect the suction hose to the suction
head.
To ensure a reliable operation of the appli-
ance maintenance contracts can be con-
cluded with the competent Kärcher sales
office.
In case of danger of frost:
Î
Empty the dirt water reservoir.
Î
Store the appliance in a frost-protected
room.
Danger
Risk of injury! When loading or unloading the
machine, it may only be operated on gradi-
ents of max. 10%. Drive slowly.
Î
If you want to transport the machine on a
vehicle secure it from slipping using
belts/ ropes.
Apply parking brake (optional).
Î
Raise the polishing head to avoid dam-
age to the pads.
