Open fields are an example of an extremely sparse 3D structure environment. This is another
case where the Feature Tracker should be used to get the best map results.

For optimal results using the Adaptive Data Replay, you can do live scanning in the three with
camera modes. That way, you can replay with or without camera.
When tilting the camera in an area with only a few vertical features, the camera should be facing
towards the ground behind the operator for best performance of the feature tracking capability.
Try not to occlude the camera image with the operator.
The Feature Tracker should not be used in situations with varying lighting conditions and
especially in low-light situations. The Feature Tracker should never be pointed towards the sun.
When using the Feature Tracker, take care to avoid situations where dynamic objects such as
people or vehicles are a significant portion of the Feature Tracker Field of View. It’s better to not
use the Feature Tracker in highly dynamic environments.
When recording raw data, Feature Points can be saved in the 3 operating modes with camera
instead of all the images. The data can be reprocessed later, with or without camera.
