Removing the battery

Requirements

– Park the truck on a horizontal surface.
– Park the truck securely, see page 60.
– Expose the battery, see page 36.

Tools and Material Required

– Battery replacement trolley (

)

Procedure

• Remove the battery connector (43) from the truck.
• Place the battery connector on the battery.
• Turn the battery lock (44) over and pull it up.
• Flip the battery retainer (47) over.
• Pull the battery (48) off the truck.

Observe the battery replacement trolley operating instructions.

The battery has now been removed.
