Maintenance checklist EFG-Vac
A
The maintenance intervals refer to normal service conditions. In case of aggravated
conditions, the intervals must be reduced as required.

Chassis/

1.1 Check all load bearing elements for damage

1.2 Check all bolted connections
t
1.3 Check trailer coupling
t
1.4 Check overhead guard for damages and secure
attachment
t
1.5 Check safety belt for damages and function
t
1.6 Check retaining system (option) for damages and
function
t
1.7 Check is label are present, readable, and valid
t
Drive:
2.1 Check transmission for noise and leaks
t
2.2 Check transmission oil level
t
2.3 Check pedal mechanism and adjust and grease, if
required
t
2.4 Change transmission oil
t
Wheels:
3.1 Check wheels for wear and damage
t
3.2 Check tyre pressure
t
3.3 Check bearing and secure attachment
t
3.4 Renew wheel bearing greasing of front and rear tyres
and readjust wheel bearings.
t
Steering:
4.1 Check hydraulic components for function and leaks
t
4.2 Grease all bearings of the steering axle (wheel bearing,
king pin, steering arm and swivel) according to the
lubrication schedule with a conventional grease gun at
least after 500 hours.
t
4.3 Check steering axle, king pin, and stops for wear and
deformation
t
4.4 Clean steering angle sensor with compressed air
t
Brake
system:
5.1 Performance and adjustment check
t
5.2 Check brake mechanism and adjust and grease, if
required
t
5.3 Check brake lines, connections, and oil level of the
brake system
t
5.4 Change mineral oil of the brake system
t
5.5 Measure holding pressure of spring-loaded brake
t
5.6 Check brake fluid level (mineral oil)
t
Hydr. system:
6.1 Check connections for leaks and damage
t
6.2 Check ventilation and aeration filter at hydraulics tank
t
6.3 Check oil level
t
6.4 Check hydraulic cylinders for leaks, damage, and
secure attachment
t
6.5 Check hose line for correct function and damage
t
6.6 Change filter cartridge (hydraulic oil and aeration filter)
t
6.7 Change hydraulic oil
t
6.8 Check pressure relief valves for correct function
t
6.9 Change vacuum filter (steering)
