17. HOW TO ADJUST THE V045, V046

(1) Adjustment of timing between the main body of
sewing machine and the V0 device

) Adjust the amount of feed of the main body of sewing
m a c h i n e t o 1 . 6 m m f o r t h e M S - 1 1 9 0 / V 0 4 5 a n d
MS-1190/V046, and to 2.3 mm for the MS-1190M/V045
and MS-1190M/V046.
2) Loosen adjusting screw

of the V0 device. Set
the adjusting screw at position
A
(2.0 mm) for the
MS-1190/V045 and MS-1190/V046, and at position
B
(2.5 mm) for the MS-1190M/V045 and MS-1190M/
V046. Then, fi x the adjusting screw.

(Caution) In the case urethane roller is used, set the
roller pressure to a lower value than the
set value for the steel roller. An excessive
pressure can deform the urethane roller or
can apply an extra load to the V0 device.
