3.4 Laser dirty error
Error screen
Causes of the error
When the check box “Check Laser
condition” on the “Production
(Function2)” tab invoked from the
“Operation option” screen, the system
checks to see if the laser sensor
window is stained when a board is
loaded to the machine. If it finds that
the laser sensor window is stained, the
machine temporarily stops.

The laser sensor window is
scratched.
How to handle an error
1) If a “Laser dirty error” occurs, the head moves to the front side, and then stops temporarily.
2) See Section 5.3.4 “Laser align sensor” of the “Operation Manual II” to clean the laser sensor
window.
3) After cleaning the window, press the
button and check to see if the stains are removed
on the “Laser waveform display” screen.
4) Press the <START> switch.
The system checks to see if the laser sensor window is stained again, and if the window is clean,
the machine starts PWB production.
If the system detects the stained window again, the following message appears on the screen.
Normally, select the <No> button.
The machine temporarily stops again.
Clean the laser sensor window again.
The window is stained
.
The window is clean.
Select this button if the laser
window is scratched but you
want to resume the PWB
production in this condition.
