5.2
Operation and functions
5.2.1
Operating mode
The dosing capacity is dependent on the system-induced back pressure and the set
stroke frequency (0.1 - 100 %)!
The frequency of the incoming contacts is multiplied by the set displaced volume (if in
this respect the max. dosing capacity is exceeded, dosing takes place in continuous
operation at max. stroke frequency, excess contacts are ignored)!
The JUDO UNIDOS digital dosing pump system can be operated in manual or contact mode.
Manual operating mode: The dosing pump doses continuously at the dosing capacity set via the rotary knob
(stroke frequency 0.1 - 100 %). Switching on/off takes place via the Ext. stop signal input.
Contact operating mode: The dosing pump doses for each incoming potential-free contact of a contact water
meter at the dosing capacity set via the rotary knob (stroke frequency 0.1 - 100 %).
Switching over operating mode:
Set the dosing capacity to 0 % at the rotary knob.
Connect the dosing pump to mains voltage.
Keep the operating mode key pressed for at least 5 s, the newly selected operating mode is saved.
5.2.2
Ext. stop signal input
Attention
The Ext. stop signal input is defined in the factory as a NOC!
If the JUDO UNIDOS digital dosing pump system is operated via the Ext. stop signal
input, it must be defined under mode 1 (see Chap. 5.2.5) as an NCC!
The operation of the dosing pump can be switched to standby via an external potential-free contact via the
Ext. stop signal input, e.g. in a time controlled manner by the JUDO dosing pump control Digital JDPS-D
(see Chap. 3.2.3), with parallel switching of feed pumps or feed mechanisms or from a building control
system. The operating state is indicated by the relevant status LEDs (see Chap. 5.1.1).
