4.3.2
Fitting and connection of the cold or hot water injection point
To prevent, as necessary, scaling in the injection tube, the site-supplied connecting
sleeve ½” internal thread must be installed such that the cold or hot water injection point
can be fitted vertically from above!
To simplify maintenance, the fitting of a shut-off valve upstream of the connecting
sleeve is recommended!

Cold water injection point:
As necessary shorten the injection tube so that it extends to the middle of the pipe.
Screw in the injection point so that it forms a leak-tight seal at the site-provided connecting sleeve.
Unscrew the union nut of the injection point, remove the clamping ring and insert with connecting
cone.
As necessary, shorten the dosing pipe to the necessary length, guide through the union nut and the
clamping ring, then plug correctly on to the connecting cone of the insert.
Re-insert the insert and clamping ring in the injection point and correctly fasten using the union nut
to form a leak-tight seal.
Hot water injection point:
Screw in the injection point so that it forms a leak-tight seal at the site-provided connecting sleeve.
Shorten the dosing pipe as necessary to the required length and insert the tubular stiffener in the
dosing pipe.
Route the dosing pipe through the union nut and press correctly into the clamping ring.
Insert the clamping ring in the connection of the injection point and correctly fasten using the union
nut to form a leak-tight seal.
