5.6 DRAINING THE CYLINDER
CAUTION Risk of scalding! Check the appliance’s DHW temperature
before opening the safety valve . Wait until the water temperature has
dropped enough to prevent scalding and other damage!
• Isolate the appliance from the power supply.
• Close the water shut-off valve at the cold water inlet and open one
DHW tap .
• Open the drain tap.
OR
• Open safety valve.
• Wait until the water stops flowing out of the safety valve drain tap
and the appliance has been completely drained .
