Each Insert FX has one available modulation source (with
sidechain modulation), which directly affects the

parameter, i.e., it affects the Insert FX’s setting.

Solaris provides four Insert FXs that can be placed in the
signal path between the mixers and filters, or between the
filters and the VCAs. See “Signal Path” on page 21 for
examples.

Parameter
Description
Decim(ator)
Reduces the sample rate of the playback
system. The range is +/- 63, with lower
values increasing the decimation effect.
BitChop
A “bit crusher” effect that allows you to
reduce the bit length of the playback
signal from 16 to 1. There are 16 discrete
steps, though the parameter value shows
a range of +/- 63.
Distort
A soft distortion effect.
