1. INTRODUCTION
This manual will help you to operate your motorized surf safely and easily. It contains a de-
tailed description of the motorized surf, its supplied or built-in accessories, systems and in-
formation about their operation and maintenance. Please read it carefully and learn about
the motorized surf before you start using it.
Do not set out on a ride if the conditions (wind force and wave height) do not correspond to
the construction category of your motorized surf and make sure you are able to safely control
the motorized surf in these conditions.
This user manual does not include detailed maintenance or repair instructions. If you experi-
ence any problems, contact the Authorized JETSURF Dealer or manufacturer of the motorized
surf. If you have the maintenance manual, please follow it during the motorized surf mainte -
nance.
Maintenance, fixing and adjustments of the motorized surf can only be made by trained and
qualified personnel. Any adjustments which might affect the safety characteristics of the
motorized surf have to be checked, implemented and documented by authorized person.
The manufacturer of the motorized surf cannot be responsible for any adjustments made
beyond authorized personnel.
In some countries it is required to have qualification or licence to operate motorized surf.
Some other legislation requirements might be required. It is recommended to check the local
law where the board is planned to be operated.
Each motorized surf can suffer damage if used incorrectly. It is necessary to check the water
surface conditions to keep the safety of rider and motorized surf. Always make sure to adapt
the speed and riding to current conditions.
The person controlling the motorized surf must use suitable swimming aids described in the
chapter PERSONAL SWIMMING AIDS in this manual. It is necessary to point out that in some
countries the law requires wearing swimming aids under all circumstances while using
the JetSurf and is therefore necessary to comply with these national legislations.
PLEASE KEEP THIS MANUAL AT A SAFE PLACE AND HAND IT OVER TO A NEW OWNER IF
YOU SELL THE MOTORIZED SURF.
