8. BEFORE THE RIDE
8.5.2. CHECK OF THE BALANCING VALVE & CHECK WATER PRESENCE IN
THE VENTILATION SYSTEM
• Remove the cover of the ventilation system

by turning it anticlockwise.
• When cover of the ventilation system is removed, check for water presenc e
• Check if the balancing valve

is clean.
Note (Material damage)
If the balancing valve is clogged, replace it ( p. 56 ) .
8.5.3. CHECK FOR WATER PRESENCE IN THE MOTOR COMPARTMENT
• Remove the inspection cover

by turning
it anticlockwise.
• Check whether there is not any water at the bottom of the motor compartment.
Note (Material damage)
If you see little amount of water in the motor compartment, it is condensed water.
However, water volume higher than 30 ml may damage the motorized surf and it is
recommended to contact the nearest service as soon as possible. Make sure you
dry out the motor compartment immediately after every ride. Check the water level
carefuly to make sure the board operates properly.
