Pre-Installation
The following installation information is only applicable for single pump installations. If a Vacuum Unit is supplied by Jets Vacuum AS, please refer
to the Vacuum Unit information.
Installation Site Considerations
1. Installation space requirements can be determined from the dimension drawing.
2. Proper lifting devices should be available for installation, service and maintenance.
3. The location of the installation should have sufficient clearance around the pump to allow for ventilation and heat dispersal.
4. Select a mounting plate which will minimize vibration and torsion of the baseplate. A solid and sturdy base is necessary.
5. To ease service of the pump we recommend installing a shut-off valve on both the inlet and the outlet of the pump (not included in product
delivery).
6. Ensure that all safety information has been read and precautions have been taken.
7. Installation must comply with all local, state and federal safety codes and practices.
