Service and Maintenance - Disassembly Instructions

Turn off and disconnect the power to the pump.
3.2 Warning
Never work on the equipment when mains power is applied.
For equipment fitted with a frequency converter: After disconnecting the input
power, always wait for 5 min to let the intermediate circuit capacitors
discharge before you start working on the equipment.

Empty the pump of wastewater.

Remove the screws holding the fan
cover (32) in place.

Remove the fan cover (32).

Remove the fan (31).

It is strongly recommended to
use a service jig (not included in
delivery) to stabilize the pump
during maintenance. The service
jig prevents the pump from
damage and falling over. Contact
your Jets™ agent for details.
Position the service jig on the
shaft.

With the service jig in place, turn the
pump and place motor side down on
a flat surface.

Remove the suction chamber by
loosening the four hex screws

between the suction chamber
and the end flange

Remove the suction chamber
ℰ
.
Gentle use of a rubber mallet may be
required.

Remove the O-ring

Remove the center hex screw from
the rotating knife.

Remove the rotating knife and
split sleeve.
