Surveying with the Maxor
Notice:
Pacific Crest PDL (UHF) modems use a 38400 baud rate.

. The receiver begins sending data to the selected port.
If using a Pacific Crest PDL (UHF) external modem, follow these steps to configure this
modem:

Connect the radio antenna before switching the modem
to the transmitting mode.

When finished with the previous steps, press the power button on the external
modem.
14.
Select the radio transmission power using the Low/High toggle on the rear panel of
the modem. When in High, the AMP PWR LED will be on.
15.
Use the Channel button to set the frequency channel. Check that the modem
transmits the corrections (the TX LED will blink red each time data transmits).

Setting up an RTK Rover
Use the following steps to set up an RTK Rover station. You should already have
programmed the modem.
1.
Set up the Rover station receiver's antenna as described in “Maxor Receiver Setup”
2.
Connect your receiver and computer. See “Connecting the Maxor and a Computer”
