Procedure in the event of faults
Possible fault
Cause
Remedy
No display
External fuse for the power
supply voltage has tripped.
Replace fuses.
Device defective.
Send the device to the
manufacturer for repair.
No current display
Measured voltage is
not connected.
Connect the measured voltage.
Measurement current is
not connected.
Connect measuring-circuit
current.
Displayed current is too
high or too low
Current measurement in
the wrong phase.
Check connection and correct
if necessary.
Current transformer factor is
incorrectly programmed.
Read out and program the CT
ratio on the current transformer.
Displayed voltage is too
low or too high.
Measurement in the wrong
phase.
Check connection and correct
if necessary.
Voltage transformer incorrectly
programmed.
Read out and program
the voltage transformer ratio
at the voltage transformer.
Voltage displayed is too
low.
Measurement range exceeded. Use voltage transformers.
The peak voltage value
at the measurement input
has been exceeded by
the harmonics.
Attention!
Ensure
the measurement inputs are
not overloaded.
“EEEE” and “V”
on the display
The voltage measurement
range has been exceeded.
Check the measured voltage
and install a suitable voltage
transformer if necessary.
“EEEE” and “A”
on the display
The current measurement range
has been exceeded.
Check the measured current
and install a suitable current
transformer if necessary.
